Why Younique 3D Fiber Lashes

Why did I get caught up in the Younique 3D Fiber Lash Craze?  Basically, I have some pitiful lashes!  I always say I was blessed with long legs, but not long lashes!  So here is my story!

I have been in search for help for my short eyelashes for years.  I have tried the drugstore falsies.  They would always get goopy with glue and half-stick half-slide around on my eyelid.  The line of lovely lashes would inevitably have an area loose and pulling away.  I would pull up the strip in hopes of reapplying only to see tons of glue and a bent row of lashes.  Another pair of falsies down!

I then fell in love with the ads of Latisse and Brooke Shields.  So I only have to apply a prescription medication to my eyelids daily for 8 weeks and then every other day for the rest of my life?  Sounds pretty simple.  Oh yes I have to find a doctor to prescribe this and go down and buy the product.  That is after looking for an online coupon because my research showed it gets expensive!  A one month kit runs about $120.  Wait $120 for one month?  Wow that can get really costly over time!  Ok I’ll try it and see. Well my eyelids became irritable and itchy after the application.  Then a week or so later I noticed a dark line across my eyelids where the medication was applied.  This is not going as planned.  On top of things I get pregnant and decide I need to ditch all medications.

So after having two beautiful girls I still have short lashes and even a shorter amount of time to spend on my beauty regimen.  I considered paying someone to glue lash extensions to my eyelids.  Now I am looking at a 2 hour application and future refills.  This can cost over a hundreds of dollars.  Yeah I don’t see that happening!

A close friend started posting about some amazing mascara.  I noticed her frequent pictures showing before and after using Younique’s 3D Fiber Lashes.  So for less than a tank of gas I can buy this magic mascara and it will last 2-3 months.  I can give this a try right?  I anxiously opened my new mascara and read the directions.  Armed with a mirror and the mascara I began applying and instantly I was blown away.  This stuff is amazing!  It really does make my eyelashes longer and fuller.  Where have you been hiding oh wondrous mascara?  Oh my, soon I sound like the crazy infomercial people.  I can’t stop telling my family and friends about these 3D Fiber Lashes!  Wait, if I believe in it this much to tell people I care about to try it, then why not stand behind it and become a presenter?  And so I did and that was just the beginning of my journey!
